Radio Taiwan International in english

Radio Taiwan International invited foreign nationals to celebrate the Republic of China’s birthday (100th anniversary) through paintings.
My artwork has been selected in top 100 paintings and they project it onto the external wall of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall’s main building on October 8th till October 27th.

The 100 paintings will be exhibited in the Global Congratulations Online Gallery from Oct 8 ~ Oct 31, too.
You can vote for my painting, but it isnt so neccessary, not important for me…but if you vote, thank you so much…
Im so happy that i can support Taiwan with my work, even if i am not among the winners.
Honestly i am not satisfied with my picture, there were 3 criterions and my brain always stoped when i started to thinking about it:
1. The artist’s impression of Taiwan
2. The artist’s blessing for the country’s centennial
3. The digits ‘100’

On my pic you can see the Taipei 101, The National Palace Museum and Taroko National Park surronded by the national plants, flowers.
I made the buildings with ” Happy 100′th birthday” in mandarin of course.
In the background is the sun from their flag, and i painted the whole with the national colours (red, blue, white).

A Kínai Köztársaság (Tajvan) 100.-ik születésnapja alkalmából a Radio Taiwan International meghirdetett egy festmény pályázatot, amire jelentkeztem is.
Helyezést nem értem el, de beválogatták a legjobb 100-ba az elküldött festményemet, amit október 8-án egészen október 27-ig fognak kivetítni a Csang Kaj-sek-emlékcsarnok külső falára a többi alkotással együtt.
A képeket meg lehet tekinteni egy online galérián keresztül is, ahol szavazni is lehet a közönségnek az általa leginkább favorizált képre.
A legtöbb szavazatot kapó alkotók különféle emléktárgyakban részesülnek majd.
Nekem nem az ajándék a lényeg, se a szavazatok száma, nagyon örülök már annak is, hogy a képem beválogatásra került, és ezzel is valahogy támogathattam Tajvan függetlenedését Kínától.

A képem a 70-es számú. A címe: With Love
Ha beütöd a keresőbe a kép címét, meg fogod találni.

Őszintén szólva nem vagyok magammal megelégedve, ami a képet illeti…szorított a határidő, és a 3 kritérium, aminek feltétlen szerepelnie kellett az alkotáson.
1. A jókívánságom Tajvannak, 2. a benyomásom az országról/tajvan nevezetességei, 3. a 100-as szám.
Én a Tajpei 101 felhőkarcolót, a Taroko Nemzeti Parkot és a Nemzeti Palota Múzeumot rajzoltam meg a “Boldog 100.-ik születésnapot!” feliratból, természetesen mandarin nyelven. A képre még a nemzet híresebb növényeit és a háttérbe a nap szimbólumot festettem, ami a zászlójukban is megtalálható.
A színvilág szintén a tajvani zászló színeire utal.

Nem túl röviden, de ennyi :)
